Road Safety Week just isn't possible without our supporters.
For many years now Brake has done some outstanding work to make our roads safer for all, so it’s fantastic to be able to join forces to continue this mission. By working together we will keep striving to make roads safer for pedestrians, passengers and motorists alike. We aim to educate all road users on six golden rules of driving (Slow, Sober, Secure, Silent, Sharp and Sustainable), and encourage the public to get involved and take the pledge. In addition to the collaboration with Brake, Aviva is also working with Netmums and Buzzfeed to raise awareness of road safety.
Specsavers is a proud supporter of Brake and its ongoing efforts to improve road safety. Our Specsavers Drive Safe campaign demonstrates a longstanding commitment to
improving eyesight on the roads. Poor vision presents a daily threat to millions of roads users, yet research is constantly reminding us that, as a nation, we are failing to meet even the minimum standards of vision for safe driving. We passionately believe that this has to change. We can all play our part, by keeping ourselves and our families safe when we venture out onto the roads.
