Promoting road safety can be part of any organisation's corporate social responsibility work, helping you to establish the organisation as one that cares about staff, customers and local people.

Are there concerns in your local area about road safety issues? Is there a need for lower speeds, clearer signage, better paths and crossings? Why not engage with local people by asking them to share their views on roads in their area, and on what they think can be done to make getting around safer and more sustainable?

You can connect with people through social media, or, if you have time, by getting out and about in your community, holding awareness-raising events in schools and shopping centres, inviting the press, or arranging a visit from Brake’s mascot, Zak the Zebra, to generate publicity for your activities.
